Faculty in the liberal arts frequently express concern about students' use of AI and the role of such technologies in the classroom, especially when it comes to writing. And not without good reason: as generative AI challenges familiar pedagogies, faculty need new ways to think about writing assignment design. As we look ahead to the spring semester, this brown bag lunch workshop offers practical frameworks for designing meaningful, learning-centered writing assignments, with dedicated time to develop or revise an assignment or activity of your own.
