As part of Georgia Tech’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) series, the Wellness Empowerment Center (W.E.) invites you to a Denim Day-themed craft circle and VOICE tabling event on Tuesday, April 16 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Spend the afternoon making crafts, connecting with peers, and exploring resources that support survivor advocacy and community care.
This event is presented in collaboration with Belonging & Student Support (B&SS) and will take the place of B&SS’s bi-weekly Third Place Thursday program, located in the Smithgall (Flag) Building, suite 102.
Denim Day, observed nationally on April 29, is a Day of Action to support survivors and raise awareness about sexual violence. To mark that day, the W.E. Center team will be wearing denim in solidarity and sharing a group photo on Instagram (@gtwellnesscenter). They invite you to join them in wearing denim and helping spread awareness.
