What is 3484?

3484 Magazine is Georgia Tech’s official student news magazine and publishes online and print copies. Named after Atlanta’s geographical coordinates of 34° N, 84° W, we focus primarily on political and social issues in the Atlanta area and how they impact local residents and Georgia Tech students. Articles can be opinion or news, and topics often include urban development, transit, sustainability, policing, food, elections, protests, and other ongoing events. A talented team of student designers creates the magazine, designs covers and individual articles, and runs our social media.
