Supercomputing @ GT is hosting our very first workshop, Crash Course to Supercomputing! This workshop is designed for those who haven't had much experience with HPC / supercomputing. We'll go over the fundamentals of using a supercomputer, such as how to log onto a cluster, use/manipulate Linux, basic commands with Linux, SLURM, and more. After going over the basics, you will also learn about some basic parallel programming and work on some parallel computing problems!

For this event, we will be using the CoC Instructional computing clusters, provided by GT Partnership for an Advanced Computing Environment (aka GT PACE). RSVPs are required so we have your information to give you access to these computing clusters. In addition, a headcount is needed because food is provided (yum).
