MedTech Hackathon is a unique initiative that provides opportunities for students to take classroom theory to real-world applications and create impactful medical devices. Given the closure of our old BME Design Shop, hundreds of students are looking for resources and support to learn new technical skills and explore their creativity in the medical space.

Competitors will have the opportunity to partake in many training sessions in the fall, including one led by SolidWorks, culminating in a 36-hour build weekend where students will create a medical device to address an issue in one of two problem spaces.
