The purpose of the annual Safety Walk is to identify and inspect areas on campus that the student body feels require the Institute’s attention due to risks to pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and the Georgia Tech community at large. Some of the topics the Safety Walk will focus on include specific dangerous intersections, stretches of shared-use roads or paths, and signage and lighting concerns. Given the complexity of these issues and their importance to students’ well-being, we would greatly appreciate your insight and support as we strive to make our campus a safer and more inclusive space.

The Safety Walk will take place on Friday, January 20 at 5:30 PM. We will meet outside of the GTPD headquarters and proceed through campus according to the itinerary.
