The Trailblazers invite you to a Spring break trip from March 19 to 24 at Francis Marion National Forest.

This park is located on the coastal plains of South Carolina, about 40 miles north of Charleston. It is known for its variety of wildlife, recreational opportunities, and historical landmarks.

This trip includes four days of outdoor service work throughout the park, including clearing trees, installing pavers and fencing, and painting decks. The rest of the time will be used for recreational activities like hiking, camping, stargazing, and a possible trip to Charleston. It is a great opportunity to do some meaningful service, enjoy outdoor adventure, and make friends with your fellow yellow jackets. The detailed itinerary can be found here

The trip cost is $60. This includes food, transportation, and other supplies. An email with a link to pay will be sent to you if you are selected. Tents and sleeping pads will be provided, but participants will need to secure their own sleeping bags and pillows (see suggested packing list below). Prior experience camping is not necessary, but welcome! Just be prepared for a more primitive camping experience. You do not need to be involved with Trailblazers to join. Anyone is welcome to sign up!
